I gave Pat and April our cabin in Chelan for their anniversary one summer. This was before they built their home in Chelan.
As Pat tells the story, they were relaxing at the end of the day, and a mouse scooted acros the living room. April would put a toe down on the the rest of the night. Pat had to carry her wherever she went in the cabin. Bedtime came, April was still on the top of the couch, while Pat had to comb the bedroom for the mouse. No sign of the monster mouse. Now we all know how hot Lake Chelan gets in August. Well April made Pat stuff towels under the doors, close all the windows for the night. The mouse was never seen again. However, April would not go in the cabin for weeks until someone checked the inside for any sign of a mouse.
She finally started to come inside after my sisters and I had the pest people come to do,whatever they do to make sure those pesky mice or bugs never come inside.
I love you April❤️
